Cypriot Academy of Public Administration

Objectives
The main objective of this Project is to contribute, through training of civil servants, to the improvement of the administrative capacity of the Cypriot public service to incorporate and implement the acquis communautaire and generally to promote its effective functioning in the E.U. framework. The project is divided into the following components: a) training needs assessment in relation to the content and the procedures of elaboration and implementation of public policies b) elaboration of an operational action plan for the specialized training activities that correspond to the training needs c) implementation of the training activities as foreseen in the operational action plan d) evaluation of the training activities and e) establishment of an electronic data base for the training activities.
