Objectives
The project objective του έργου was the development of educational material aiming at informing and guiding managers, municipal and regional officials on the new architecture of self-government and the “KALLIKRATES” programme. The modules of the educational material included: a) the presentation of the basic institutions, their role and their core functions; b) new control mechanisms, transparency and financial management matters as well as in general basic information of the finances of the Local self government organizations; c) new responsibilities and e-government issues; d) matters relating to development planning, to ESPA (the National Strategic Framework), to European and national projects and funding; e) matters of personnel and human resources management and f) explanation of basic concepts and definitions.
